Dr. Selbst is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.  He received a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas School of Biomedical Sciences and a postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston .  Dr. Selbst is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.  Dr. Selbst is an Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Texas Dental Branch and has taught microendodontic and microsurgical courses at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation and Southwestern Medical School .  He has served as a Director and Officer in the American Association of Endodontists, the Southwest Society of Endodontists, the Houston Academy of Endodontists and the Greater Houston Dental Society.  Dr. Selbst is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the American Arbitration Association, the American College of Legal Medicine, and the American Health Lawyers Association, as well as a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists.
